Anybody expecting Vick to come off the bench and be great is an idiot. He may suck (and he might be great), but forcing him to play down 3 TDs without practicing with the starters was setting him up to fail. As for Geno? I don't care if we have to sign Taj Boyd and play him, I don't want to see Geno again this season; playing him is insulting. Sorry, you drafted a bad QB - stop wasting our time pretending his improving. Vick, Simms, Boyd, Tebow ... I don't care who plays as long as it's not Geno.
Too put the WORST QB in the league back in makes 0 sense. Vick had very few reps with the starters all year long and came in with horrible field position. On a side note this O line is gonna get who ever the QB is killed.
The QB will be as every bit good as the supporting cast around him sorry. When the pocket collapses every other play and takes self inflicting penalties to back themselves up, something's up with the big boys in front. Vick won't be able to make this work regardless of score or reps because if we get our asses kicked in the trenches after we build and desire to be a Ground and Pound team, then what do we have on offense? The OLine have gotten their assed handed to them in pass protection, led by Brian Winters. You can have whatever you want at QB, they aren't making this consistently work with the guys on the OLine. People need to adjust blame to them rather than act like the QB is holding them down.
Rex the professional YES MAN, got in trouble with his daddy Idzik for benching Geno. So the sackless wonder had to make daddy happy and make Geno the starter again.
He's the veteran backup he's supposed to be ready when called upon. That's why they brought him in in the first place. Geno is the "guy" in the eyes of the front office so he'll get his chances. And with the season going down the toilet its best to go with the young guy.
John Idzik should be fired with Rex, so the Jets can truly have a fresh start. Idzik was nothing more than an assistant to a real GM in Seattle and somehow convinced Woody he could run a team.
