Time of possession 1st half: SD 20:20, NYJ 9:40. I want to bitch about the D, they ain't doing well not being able to get off the field etc....but just once I'd like to see what they can do over a game when they offense gives them a breather now and then.
our back 7 is really the worst in football. we cant cover anyone. if we dont get a sack, guys are wide open. even when we get them in 2nd or 3rd and long its easy conversions unless the dline makes a play. the line can only hold up so long and make so many plays. eventually someone is going to have to step up and make some plays in the secondary or we are going to continue to get gashed. 5th week in a row guys are running wide open
Even the defense gave up on that last series. Before that they were playing hard. But they're on the field the entire half. Btw Mike Vick isn't chopped liver. If you have to switch he's not a 3rd stringer. He has the resume.
Can REX stop sending 6 or seven guys to get Rivers on the ground and just send 5 guys max and have Pryor and Allen at safety because Landry is a HUGE LIABILITY is coverage.
1-4...in the basement for the first time in a while. Even this mediocre division feels like it is is getting out of reach.
You know, it is funny. We have 4 guys rushing against 5 blockers and a QB. Leaves 7 guys to cover 5. Yet EVERY single play Rivers seems to find someone open. Don't we ever get it right?
After waiting all year long its almost like a sense of relief. I no longer have to scream at the tv, cry over interceptions, bad defense and poor coaching. Its expected every week in and out. Not to be a darksider or sojf but this season is over ladies and gents. Time to look for the future.
