He'll be on the practice squad,.. Where he belonged at the start of the season. I made this claim and was laughed at because I was "wishing" for Stephen Hill.. Now 4 weeks later, we cut hit flat out to add depth to a different position ( with less need I might add ).
Damn, Idzik must know something about Saunders that we don't. I mean I know he messed up that punt and had a medical condition leading to the car accident, but maybe it's more serious than we thought. Or maybe we just want him on the practice squad.
12 picks. 4 of them are already off the team. If your gonna cut 33% of your draft, you may as well trade up for more talented players.
so, now we need Amaro to test out for PED's/slap his GF around and Pryor to break something. After that our draft class's 2014 futility will be 100% complete.
To be fair, T.J. Graham is a decent signing. He has skills. Saunders was a stupid draft pick in May. No sense getting further angry over it just because they had to cut him now. People were upset back in May. You got to work with the hands you are dealt and in this instance the better move was to cut him and sign Graham.
i think they want him to go onto the practice squad. not every pick is going to be great and not every move by a GM is going to be a good one
Or ... Maybe just maybe. Idzik is COMPLETELY and totally incompetent as an NFL GM. Who wastes a 4th round pick so severely? Idzik does, that's who!! Idzik needs to be FIRED now. I hope the smoke coming out of Florham Park today in regards to Jets FO fed up with Idzik is really true. This guy is a football MORON.
