Idzik sucks more than Geno. His draft picks suck and he has no eye for talent. In 2 years he's brought in a grand total of 3 good players -- Sheldon, decker, and Chris ivory -- and countless draft and FA busts / JAGs. Meanwhile, Cro -- who we could have brought back on the cheap -- is a top-10 cover corner so far this year according to PFF. In he 2014 draft he passed on Brandon cooks and kelvin Benjamin (and teddy Bridgwater) in round 1, jimmy garoppolo in round 2... Instead he chose: 1) a midget safety who can't cover or tackle and who's clearly inferior to a guy the Packers took a few picks later 2) a plodding TE 3) a CB coming off a serious injury who you could have got in round 7 4) a 150 lb punt returner who can't catch 5) worthless flotsam instead of trading the pick for Darren Sproles How about bringing in a fu-king playmaker who can help score some fu-ing points? How about adding a QB who can protect the damn ball instead of gift-wrapping it to the other team 3 times a game?
Are you really judging a draft class after four games? Look, I'm not an Idzik fan either, but serisouly stop with these, foolish, outlandish statements.
This is wrong on so many levels. You can't possibly judge the guys he drafted this year on 4 games lol Look, he's made questionable moves at corner and wide receiver but don't sit here and say he sucks and hasn't done shit in the draft. He helped build a dominant defensive line. He helped build a very deep offensive line that has great potential. He drafted a possible stud safety. He brought in a great receiver who with a good quarterback would be excellent. Jace Amaro is emerging and looking to be very promising. Sheldon Richardson was the defensive rookie of the year and is a total stud. Chris Ivory is a monster who Idzik brought in for a 4th round pick. He brought in solid talent that is still developing, guys like Salas and Hakeem. For a guy who came into a franchise who had no money and tons of problems on the roster, he has done a very good job of fixing things. He's been here 2 years lol how could you possibly sit here and say he sucks or has been terrible? It's a process and so far it looks very promising. Idzik took a gamble drafting Geno Smith in the second round. It was a great pick with tremendous upside with very little to lose.
It's not like Rex is a second year coach, all those guys you mentioned came in on Rex's watch. It's not like he is trying win with Mangini's guys (which he seemed to be able to do better than with his guys). Rex/Idzik and Tannenbum all ignored offensive playmakers in the draft for the DL and CB's and while we have a great DL (and shitty CB's) you don't win the SB in 2014 with just a great DL.
You mean the guy who steals crab claws and yells to fuck her in her c word... yeah I won't even type that word it's so bad.
