Former Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas killed in car accident

Heard on the radio about an hour ago. Crazy.

Damn only married 3 months too. That sucks.

Crazy cause he recently tried out for multiple teams. If he was on a roster right now he wouldn't have been driving on that road in Nashville. That's fate for ya.

That's a colloquialism and only one person's word. Nobody knows for sure of course but I really doubt he was literally trying to run her off the road. He was probably tailgating a little and driving too fast and it cost him his life. That's an accident that happens everywhere everyday. I wouldn't be quick to call him a complete jackass like that.

 

Did you listen to the audio from the 911 call?

He was trying to pass the couple forcing them to pull over. The guy in the other car got out to confront Birronas who then looked at him in a "mean" way, peeled out and sped off. He then flipped the vehicle.

The 911 call from the woman is pretty disturbing. Does sound sincerely scary.

It sounds like a case of road rage, which makes it a jackass move.

This Bironas thing is weird--I think if the full story comes out it's going to show that something really untoward (besides him getting killed) happened.

The timing on the call from the wife for the missing persons report doesn't match up, the call from the students that he tried to run off the road said that cops had pulled him over (or they thought he had been pulled over) and that there was something burning in his car.

Very strange.
