Might be an unpopular opinion but I think too much emphasis on the NFL when shit like this happens, that's why police and a judicial systems exists. If I get a DUI tomorrow my work isn't going to suspend me for a few weeks and dock my pay. Even if I knocked my wife out and got arrested I don't think it would be my place of employment's job to dish out punishment, they might not want me around because I did something terrible and illegal. Plus people say the NFL should react immediately when an incident occurs but these people still have the right of due process. Otherwise any time there is an allegation of wrong doing the NFL would have to react and if that allegation is proven wrong how is that fair to the player? Obviously Ray Rice's case is a bit of an exception because there's actual video evidence of it but just saying that in general Roger Goodell is the commissioner of a sports league, not a cop or a judge.
He lied to us again, Ravens insider said they knew exactly what happened a few hours after it happened...
Roger Goodell put himself into the position of cop and judge and was considered harsh on players. He put himself into that role so we expect to do well in that role. That ESPN story gives Harbaugh a good look at first
I don't know man, that's why I'm asking. I always thought he was fair. Granted, I don't care for the fines players get for routine scuffles but I think its fair when guys stomp on people arms & stuff that just has no place in a game
