    Guys, it's very simple.

You cannot have red zone turnovers.

Winters got tooled and shoved into Smith and Smith threw a duck.

"IF" Smith pulls it down and runs
"IF" he just throws it away
"IF" we play conservative and run the ball.

If any of those three things happen, at worst, we go into halftime up 24-9 and GB has ZERO momentum.

You can point to so many other plays in the game. Davis' interception. That puts us in the driver's seat still up and about to add more points. There are so many plays like that.

What this game showed us is that EVERY Game is winnable. The Broncos laid an egg against the Chiefs but won. Seattle was schooled by the Chargers. No team is invincible, but the reverse is true as well. We can LOSE every game as well.

Need to come with our A game each week. Play to our strength. GB was vulnerable to the outside sweeps. I didn't see many of those. We should have given them a steady dose of screens, sweeps, pitches, options, etc. etc. and then when they are tired and are spreading them out, then you pound Ivory inside. Instead we tried to let our turnover prone 2nd year QB win the game for us.

Keep improving and we will be fine. I like Allen at CB and Milliner should be in the slot with Walls the other CB. Just play our game and we will be fine.

I agree with you 100%......unfortunately if you read all the replies to your post, it just goes to deaf ears..."but the coaching staff did this".....or "this player did that" ..or "the DL got dominated".....

I understand completely what your alluding to and that this team needs a chance to grow with a young QB....the first half, they did dominate the game..that late score may have been pre-cursor of things to come but they still beat the crap out of the Packers up to that point.

If only those here that make these inane comments only saw the season leading up to the Jets only super bowl, like I did, they would'nt be so ignorant in their thoughts. That team was far from perfect yet when Namath played smart , they won when it counted.....

Hey, they're just playing like Jets...sadly that means really silly ways to lose games and or look bad.

It was a blowout up til then in large measure because Green Bay made some mistakes that the Jets capitalized on, especially their turnover on the first play of the game. You did not think that unforced error was a signficant play?

Fans criticizing their team after a loss tend to make too much of such criticisms and too little of the successes by the opponent. I do it myself from time to time.

The fact is the Pack eventually got their act together. That and Smith's interception were what changed the game. They mostly contained the running game, which put more pressure on Smith as the game went on. Their pass rush was more effective than I expected, too, and their linebackers look pretty good to me. On offense, their style of attack began to wear down Allen and Walls, forcing Ryan to insert a still injured Milliner. Rodgers also exploited Pryor's positioning. I am sure Wilkerson getting thrown out did not help, either, but by the fourth quarter the Jets' problems were more on offense.

The twelve men on the field and then ten is a problem, but I think people here are making too much of the timeout call. I doubt that occurs again.

I'm more upset about about the poor timeout usage, and that bogus timeout after the snap that cost us a game tying TD. Losing this game isn't the end of the world. It would have been a sweet win, but we were against a very good team.

It's very similar to week 2 last year. Up 1-0, facing a very good opponent on the road, a brawl, one play decided the game, etc.
