Two interceptions, and almost a third that was identical to the one Geno threw yesterday. I wonder if we'll hear about his bad decision making and "rookie" mistakes
When you throw 21 interceptions and lose 4 or 5 fumbles, you get put under a microscope. If Geno has a few solid/good seasons going forward then people will ease up. At least I assume. But yeah mistakes happen. I won't kill Geno for it. He and the offense was moving ball. Although we caught a few bad breaks.
But he almost came back. He's MVP level. You know who sucks tho, Nick Foles. He has half as many INT already as he did all last year what a noob.
I don't agree. He is a slightly above QB that throws a LOT and compiles numbers. His teams tend to get down a lot and he throws against soft zones, and is good enough to exploit those often. But he is not a MVP future superstar QB in my opinion. He is treated that way and he compiles.
Maybe this Andrew Luck thread belongs in the "National Football League" section and not the "New York Jets" section??..
My point was the difference in what was talked about with Geno's performance vs. what will be talked about from Luck's. So it does, in fact, belong here.
Lucks picks weren't even on him First one Allen didn't get inside the safety Second one Fleener had his hands on it Same with Geno which was just a great play by an ATG Luck also three 53 passes so you're bound to throw a pick
It's almost like one guy almost single handedly turned around a 2 win team to an 11 win team his first two seasons and one got carried to 8 wins by his defense in spite of his putrid play. I wonder why the first guy would get cut more slack based on the first fucking game of the season than the second?
Not exactly sure the point of this thread. Is it to say Geno should be getting the same kind of "love" as Luck?
We all know how this really is. 1st round picks get excuses made for their play so as not to devalue the pick. 2nd round picks get cut no slack and must prove it every game or else they are garbage. 3rd round picks (or later) better be the second coming or enjoy your life on the bench.
'HE' didn't make a comeback. Refs did it for him. Almost. I was fucking disgusted with the way refs were trying to give the game to the Colts. [And this is coming from someone who enjoys watching Peyton suffer. Go figure.]
When will anything be this guy's fault. It's always OL, defense, WRs, play call, etc., anything but Luck. WTF! What's the agenda here!
This is partly true. But Luck get extra pass. EJ Manuel is a few bad games away from heading to the bench. Luck have enough excuses left to last him the next 10 years.
They need to stop giving him credit for "comebacks" that are due to him not doing shit in the first half. Score more points early on and you don't have to come back
