I'm so glad we didn't draft him. He has looked pretty bad in the Seattle-Packers game...whiffing on tackles left and right, dropped a sure interception that was right in his hands. He sucks.
A little premature don't you think? It's his first game as a rookie, of course, he's going to have his growing pains as most rookies do. To say he sucks after one game is just ludicrous. If Pryor goes out and has a teerible game on Sunday are you going to say he sucks?
"He almost got an interception, pryor is a beast" vs. "A sure interception that went right through his hands, Clit-Dick sux".
Clit and Dicks actually made a halfway decent number of plays in this game. He also made some shitty ones, but the first ever pro game isn't the one you decide a player's fate on unless he is a Jets player. Then you decide that he molested children and cannot mingle with society.
One game doesn't make a career. Remember how awesome Stephen Hill looked against the Bills on opening day 2 years ago?
I've never been a fan. He's not first round talent. Was very glad on draft day that we didn't take him.
I agree. I'm much happier with Pryor. Not to say that Ha Ha won't get better. It is his first game so you can't close the book on him. That being said, I still rather have Pryor.
Definitely premature. Perhaps I should have said that he was sucking in the game last night, rather than he just sucks period. It's just that I was never a fan of his. I wasn't that impressed with his play in college and thought that like some other Alabama prospects, that he was made to look a lot better than he actually was because of the great talent around him. I always thought that Pryor was a MUCH better safety prospect than Dix. I'm sure that Dix will settle down and won't be a bust, but it was an awful first game for him. I don't bear him any ill will and wish him well, I'm just glad we have Pryor.
I know. I wasn't saying that he is a bust. I wasn't as clear as I should have been. I merely meant to say that I think Pryor was and is the better safety prospect. I was never high on Dix and am just glad we didn't draft him. I think he'll settle down and play better, but don't think he'll ever be the player that Pryor is.
Probably true, but the only area he looked good in last night was coverage. He sure didn't look good as a tackler or to have good hands, but I'm sure that he's much better than he looked last night.
Yall think he sucks? I think he played good for his debut. yall do remember its his FIRST GAME right lol.. he made an impact, his presence was felt. He's fast as shit too. He cant tackle though, thats why he fits in GB perfectly! lol. He had a sack and fumble recovery in the 1st half though, almost a pick.. few pass deflections. Got killed on that first TD though. btw i hope people dont write off pryor in the 1st game if he doesnt play a solid one.
Clinton-Dix is a rookie, and will tend to have the mistakes rookies make. Similar to what we've seen from Milliner last year. However, I do agree with the original post on the Jets not drafting him. His name alone would've caused the media to make tons of jokes about it. I don't want the unnecessary publicity surrounding the Jets at this point.
No, not yet. I hope for his sake that he isn't as stupid, or lazy, or the reprehensible dog that Cro is.
