This is a bunch of media bullshit. I'm sure it was difficult for the kid being bashed all the time in the media so he took a cheap shot in the interview - so fuckin what? I don't see the part where he blames the media for being ousted from the team - I guess they just decided to connect the dots for us...

I was all for getting rid of Hill as I doubt he ever makes it as a legit NFL player, but seeing the way these writers take tiny sound bytes way out of context and then watching how many people mindlessly pile on is ridiculous.

What? How cruel of you, Cman. You expect Hill to take personal responsibility? What kind of harsh or sinister expectations are those? Don't you know that in these days no one is responsible for their actions? That we're all just victims of one sort or another? Ultimately, it must be the government's fault. We all should just go on the government dole. [sarcasm off]

The quote and article may be out of context, but Hill is still delusional. Some WRs make it a goal to NEVER drop a pass. Hill doesn't seem to care. He just shrugs it off as something that happens. It's obvious he has no drive to be great or even maximize his talent. He's just out to get a paycheck and whatever happens happens. Eff him. I'm not gonna wish that loser anything positive. If he doesn't pull his head out of his ass, wise up and start taking personal responsibility, and work to get better, I hope he never plays another down of football.

I'm not up tight and don't hate him. I hate his attitude. We have to deal with that attitude all the time in our contemporary American society and it's dragging our country down the tubes. People need to quit blaming others for their shortcomings and failures and start looking in the mirror and accepting personal responsbility. Life and others don't owe us anything.

I can't wait to see the reemergence of Stephen Hill next preseason when he proves he can drop passes in Panthers training camp too.

Yeah NC.. Guess I'm just a bit old fashioned when it comes to things like that. Being all growed up is overrated. You have to take responsibility and accept that sometimes you will fail. Talk about foreign concepts.

It's not about believing what the media wants you to believe. It's the fact that he feels it necessary to make these comments. Here are his comments from that interview:

So basically, the New York media wanted him out for a long time and now they got their wish. It should be ok for his dropped passes because "as a receiver you're going to drop passes" and because there were plenty other players dropping passes. One of the biggest reasons for his struggles was the QB position. Even though he was dropping balls thrown right at his chest, it was Mark Sanchez and Geno Smith who were the root cause of this.

Give me a break. As a receiver in the NFL, you should have no excuse for dropping passes. It shouldn't be a brush off his shoulder because "all receivers drop passes" and "others dropped more passes". That's a good attitude kid.

    Fuck him.

If Hill could wear the red practice jersey that Cam's wearing during games he might be OK...
