I think he should just be kicked from the league or suspended for like 2 seasons. Did anybody see what he did! He stomped on the head (without helmet) of a player, hes like 300 pounds and he had cleats on. I think he should be banned from the NFL, no matter how much apologizing he does.
Yes he definatley deserves at least a one year suspension and possibly some kind of felony charge. He seems to be in trouble with the NFL in some way, shape or form very often. Oh and thats a guy LISTED as 320 Ilbs (So he could be even more)... That must have really been painful.
I've heard about it, too, but haven't actually seen the clip. Collinsworth said he should've been arrested by the police after what he did. Seriously. So now, I'm really, really curious to see that clip.
What could he have possibly said during that protest? I mean, seriously, what possible excuse could someone come up with in that situation? I don't think "Sir, I thought I saw a bee on that guy's head" will cut it.
Forget being fined or suspended, Haynesworth should be arrested. If I stomped on some guy's head while wearing cleats, I'd serve time for assault--Haynseworth should do the same.
Now that I've seen the video several more times since the time of my first post in this thread, I'm thinking he gets at least a 4-game suspension.
That’s BS – he should be done for the year; don’t know how many of you have been stitched but 30 stitches is a lot! I realize it is multiple cuts – but I’ve had like two inch long gashes that were closed up with 20 or less stitches. I’m glad he didn’t lose an eye or something.
His ass should be arrested. IMO. And if I was Gurode, (if the league don't handle this correctly), personally press charges. That was a blatant assault.
