The only thing I got out of this game were depth at running back. Save for a few catches mad by Sudfeld, everybody played horribly. No catching by the WR's, no pressure by the DL, no coverage by the CB's.. This game showed how weak the Jets are in depth of WR's/CB's and safeties. Of course, Sims horrible play didn't help matters.
I purged my memory banks of the "Ghost". If we wanted to we can sadly keep bringing up more examples but I rather not go down that road.
You make a few good post/replies and then, like clockwork, throw it all away with your insane support for Simms.
Dude, if you aren't going to bring back the cottage cheese butt avatar you may as well just cease to exist.
Perhaps in Idzik's mind Hill was already 'cut' and told Rex to play him tonight as a last ditch effort to showcase his 'talents' in slim hopes of trading him somewhere for a conditional 7th round pic that bumps to 6th if he is named SB MVP or some shit. I still can't figure out why they played him at all.
Don't take it personal. And besides TGG took away the cottage cheese. New moral standards or something
Maybe the first comeback of yours that I can respect. It's not rolling over and submitting or anything. Moxie, FBG. You're getting it.
Kimberley A. Martin @KMart_LI 15s Asked if he feels he's earned a spot on the 53-man roster, Stephen Hill smiled and said: "I don't know why I wouldn't." #jets
Hill didn't prove himself tonight. n the other hand, Jeremiah George was not bad. If he can't crack 53, hopefully he will make the PS.
EXACTLY THIS! That right THERE was the 1, SINGULAR play that absolutely destroyed/obliterated/disintegrated the last remaining faith & hope I had left for sHILL to be a reliable WR. I can still SEE that nervous look in his eyes as he saw the pass coming in his direction... a pass perfectly thrown between his #'s... him crouching ALL ALONE where making that reception would have given us a key 1st down, then straight DROPPING IT!!! It was ALL over for me after that. This guy has no talent, no skills & no confidence. He's got to go....the same as "Gomer" Kyle Wilson. SIDE NOTE/RANT: I luv Rex. A far cry from the Manginis, Kotites, Coslets, etc. . He's refreshing, open & a pretty good, def coach. I respect how he defends his players almost to a fault- a fault that p#sses me off over his inability or refusal to admit the obvious regarding a player who is simply not that good. Can that "rosey-colored, positive" verbiage on players who stone-cold suck and tell it like it is. Lastly, grow a pair, get all up in Idzik's "grill" & tell him straight-up, "I need corners! Why couldn't U have gotten me Revis? You're sittin' on 21 mil & we coulda' had him @ 12! What the h#ll happen w. Rodgers-Cro'? WTF are you doing? Get me some corners & a G*T-D@mnnn Snack!!" Speak yr mind Rex. You have NOTHING to LOSE!! 'Nuff said!
