He seems to be OK now, but he had suffered a seizure. Hope he will be ok

I had a feeling it was something like that.

Edit: Wait, did this happen today? Or was it the undisclosed reason he was taken to the hospital previously?

This is from his car accident.

It wasn't released until just now. This is the accident that happened about a week ago

Doctors cleared him to play Thursday and he was back at practice today.

    He should be fine

That doesn't mean he won't have another one.

Obviously. The doctors checked him out and ruled it safe for him to play. Whether this is a recurring thing or not, no one will know.

For whatever it's worth, I've had a seizure before and have never had another one in years. Just a fluke thing with a chemical imbalance. He was cleared of being epileptic and of other potential problems, so this is likely a fluke

Maybe change the "s" to an "ed"?

Did you have to go on meds for it or did they just brush it off as a freak event?

    Jesus lol

I figured people would know what it was in reference to. My bad
Nah, they just like to keep an eye on it. You have to go in a couple times right after just to make sure nothing has changed. Believe it or not, it seems to be a common thing. I have a few buddies that have had the same thing.

I figured something like that happened to him. It's good that he didn't get seriously hurt in the accident.

    I find it fascinating that;
Oh, he had a seizure that happened while he was driving a vehicle
Oh, Okay, since you didn't have one while we had you in the hospital, you're all better now
Contact sports, sure, go out and knock some, and knock some other heads around....

What were the battery of tests to ascertain the etiology of the seizures; electrolyte imbalance, epilepsy, medication induced?
In the state of Florida, you have to be seizure free for a year to get your driver's license back....

Just to make sure I understand you correctly.. You're saying:

    1) Suizure caused the accident (as opposed to visa versa).
    2) You want specific tests done to be publicly disclosed.
    3) You apply Florida's motor vehicle regulations to a professional sportsmen operating in NY/NJ.

Does that about sums it up? If yes, what exactly is your point here?

Florida also has a 70mph speed limit in the state with the oldest people and a VERY loose handgun law
