So loud my ears still hurt (With Some Pics) Well, I just want to say that, even though we lost, that game was insane. Ive gone to plenty of Jet games, regular season and playoffs, and this one might take the cake. I definitely have to give it up to everyone at the game. We had that place ROCKIN..We had Manning calling timeouts all day long. Section 140 was awesome, I still have no voice. After Miller returned that kick it was pure electricity in the stadium. I know everyone is pissed, because of the dumb mental mistakes, and bad defense at the end, but come on now....we just gave the supposed #1 team a run for their money, and were supposed to be in "rebuilding mode". We're playing the best QB in the league( you know 6'5, Laser Rocket Arm) I think this loss is gonna make our team hungrier, and we should all be proud to have a team with this much heart and guts... BRING ON THE JAGS! By the way i took some pics at the game, so if anyone could tell me how to post them, id love to share...
We were loud at times today, but it was in no way near the loudest it's ever been. It doesn't even compare to the NE game two weeks ago. Every single play at the end of that game was louder than any one play of this weeks game. We did make Peyton use a timeout, but we certainly didn't affect his play at all.....
I have no voice either. When Miller ran back the kick return I almost flew down the 3 rows in front of me, if not for my buddy i would be banged up now, the place was going crazy, this team is something to watch, i havent had this much fun at a game in awhile. LETS GO JETS!
In the first half after the Jets scored twice to take the lead it was probably the loudest I've heard it for a first half of a regular season game. I was hearing ringing in my ears when 3rd down came up. Of course like every other big spot in the game the defense gave up a huge play so the crowd quieted down after that.
I missed the game today because my fiance's dad died. You could tell just watching on TV that the crowd was awesome!!! Nice job everyone!!!
Exactly, why the hell can't our D stop anyone on third and long? They do such great jobs of stopping teams on first and second downs then they blow it on third. I don't know what it is, the complete lack of pass rush or the fact that recievers never have anyone within 5 yards of them when they catch a third down conversion pass. I was always under the impression that if you don't apply pressure, there should be enough coverage. I can understand if we were to be bringing 5 guys after the quarterback there can be a guy wide open, but when we only rush 3 there is no reason for recievers to be so open.
When it was 3rd and 6 or 7 on mannings last drive, before he hit harrison on the sideline, it felt like the stadium was shaking
yeah..this is by far the most I have screamed during a Regular season game....except for maybe the Packer game in '02. When Miller ran it back, I thought I was going to throw up I wouldnt stop screaming. Really fun game to be at...to bad they didnt win.
oh man, what i would give to be at that game. The shot of all the Jet fans celebrating after the Miller TD was simply awesome. I need a poet to accurately describe that moment.
