Ok so put Eugene in behind the backups and see him get his azz handed to him and break an ankle and you'd be singing a different tune.
The way this entire "competition" is being handled, Vick has almost a zero chance of being injured as he's only getting less than 25% of the snaps anyway. Rex will be golden unless he does something really stupid like putting Vick in behind the 4th stringers on cutdown day.
I would give him two series of reps then showcase Boyd and Simms. Can't risk him going down in pre-season.
