Yeah I'm like the bitter wife....I hope LaBron moves back to Cleveland and knives Pettine in a bar fight.
If he can bring 3/4 of the intensity Laron Landry brought 2 seasons ago I think we're in good shape. We really needed someone who could lay some serious wood and force fumbles and Pryor has me excited he can do that and I think we have a chance to get ROY on both sides of the ball along with Amaro.
I havent been this excited over a defensive rookie since Revis. In a league where they're just isnt a lot of standout safeties , Pryor has a legit chance to be a stud. When it comes to DROY I wouldnt bet on Pryor but stranger things have happened. Like Sheldon winning last year.
This thread is funny, guy hasn't played one snap in the NFL, an he's already DROY?. ....might as well start a Superbowl thread, have we already won that too?
Pryor will have stiff competition but is not out of the question for him to be a strong candidate for DROY. I base it simply on the fact that Rex will play him all over the field so he will get plenty of chances to shine. I hope he stays healthy....that is more important than any award. DROY or not, I think we might have two ball hawking gems in the secondary with him and McDougle. This defense once it jells will be a hell of a lot of fun to watch, particularly against passing situations on third and long. Be ready Brady...cause you will no longer find those gapping holes down the middle.
Pryor has had 3 solid seasons in the NFL, which makes him a good candidate for Rookie of the year. Idiot.
Considering this is Ashley Fox, I wouldn't put much stock in it. It's not ESPN, it's Cimini that perpetuates the hate. Fox just posts stupid shit.
What intrigues me most is the effect that Pryor is going to have on the rest of the secondary. A very good FS ups everyones game, would this be enough to win DROY, no. But I expect Pryor to make a natural progression. From what I've seen of him he's not really the INT kind of FS, and has already been stated, INTs help win prizes. Clowney is there to be beaten though.
