    Anybody going to watch this?

I've liked a lot of the stuff Guillermo del Toro does, definitely interested in seeing if he can pull this off.

Absolutely. del Torro usually doesn't disappoint.

And if you like that, next up The Orphanage (El Orfonato). Not directed or written by del Torro (he produced it) but very similar in style.

I'm definitely watching it. All the shows I'm watching currently end in a week.

    I love Del Toro's work.

Based on a book which was terrible. I'll still give it a shot. Maybe it translates better as a show, but the book was brutally slow

Del Toro is one of my favorite directors. For the love of god I wish they would let him make At the Mountain of Madness.

Yup. 1 hour and 40 minute long premiere.

Pretty sweet. I liked it a lot.

    Ooooof craptastic.

Finally watched the premiere last nite.

Some pretty bad acting and the story seems a bit silly, disjointed. Not on par with some of the truly good TV shows on lately.

I'll give it another week but this may come out of my rotation pretty quickly.

^ Yeah... I wasn't particularly impressed for those exact reasons. I almost turned it off after the first 30 minutes of really cardboard backstory, the main guy is a boring character. The show picked up a bit, but not enough that I am excited for the next show - maybe just curious.

Cool concept with subpar writing and execution.

Plus... vampires acting like zombies for the fail.

Yup, had my hand on the clicker at the 30 mark too.

Who likes to be called "F" by the way?

What pitbull said is on the money, if the show is anything like the book it's going to suck, all the characters are terrible and the plot is nonexistant. It's like 600 pages long and it might be enough material for a handful of episodes, 13 episodes is going to have people fed up pretty quickly.
