    Out of interest, what happens by rule if the guy who ran back and recovered that throws an incomplete forward pass that crosses the original line of scrimmage?

    hah. I guess that would be an incomplete pass. And there would be no intentional grounding since he would likely be outside of the tackle box area.

    Hilarious, they showed that clip during the Namath, "ode to the forward pass" segment on Sunday Countdown last week.

    It would be an incomplete pass and the Saints would retain possession at the original line of scrimmage. (That was a fumble by Brooks.)
