Meija completely explodes in the 5th inning, gives up 8 runs. The fact that Collins even kept him in the game is a joke. This is the exact thing that happened last game and there is no way he still should have been in the game.m

    Coors Field is the worst.

Remember that 15-11 moment, boys and girls, because the collapse may be on. What an embarrassingly pathetic performance by the pitching staff.

They won't do it, but Met should move Mejia to the bullpen and call up Montero or Synd.

Gotta give credit to the Rockies hitters too though. The lineup is stacked and Tulo seems primed for a MVP this year if he doesnt get injured again.

Can see the difference today with half their bench players in.

I like what I'm seeing out of Niese tonight. Hell, lol, I like just being able to see the Mets on TV (here in the land of the Rays)... ;-)

Another bad loss. The Mets have had the lead in like 90 percent of their games yet are only one game over .500

I really can't remember a bullpen ever being as consistently horrible as the Mets bullpen is.

This team is going to kill me. Niese looked great, but that bullpen is awful.

Good to see Granderson coming around.

IDK why Dice wasnt pulled after the 2nd batter he faced. This isnt a young guy trying to get over the hump. TC should've givin him the hook then.

Not that I feel so much more comfortable with Farnsworth or Valverde in there but come on. Everyone saw what was gonna happen if Dice stayed in and it happened.

Mets and Phillies both suck. That was a brutal game to watch. I'll be at the park for Mother's day. I hope I don't get this type of a game.

Awesome win. Gotta give it up to Duda, who I can't stand, for playing an awesome first base tonight.

So many things happened in that game that can't possibly happen (4 Mets home runs? Duda with two great defensive plays? Granderson hitting a home run? A 3-5-3 double play to end the game?) that I lost count. The Mets can take it and run, I guess.

Montero to start on Wednesday. Great move putting Meija in the bullpen, he can't go the distance. The Mets Generation L should form nicely

DeGromm called up today as well. Smart moves lately by the Metsies.

Not a huge fan of Familia but Id rather him get a chance in the 9th then Farnsworth. We easily could've lost that game last night because of him. The guy is not an MLB pitcher anymore.

back to back Mets pitching debuts.

    Today it's Rafael Montero.

Tomorrow it's Jacob DeGrom (announced that Gee has been scratched and DeGrom starts instead).
