Good depth pick with Evans. May be more than that but he will push guys ahead of him on the depth chart and take their jobs if they falter.
Shaq Evans was a former Irish....transferred to the Bruins after year 1. He was a big recruit for the Irish but he left because of playing time/homesick.
Because we're not professional talent evaluators and we mostly follow the talking heads who obviously had a different board than the Jets this year?
I didn't see Evans play enough to comment one way or the other. Hopefully, he works out. I am not going to kick a hole in a wall like some of the Debbie Downers on here
Im not really thrilled with either of these picks. Was really hoping for DAT, Abrederis, and if we're gonna go defense Skov
Believe it or not, I love the fact we're sticking to our own board and not giving a damn what anyone thinks. We're picking guys we believe will perform for the Jets and fit the team. Loads more picks to go still.
So pretty much Jets are trusting their scouts rather than the ratings put by ESPN, NFL, etc.. Doesn't bother me at all.
LOL @ media, they are clueless right now, they are loving every pick. How about Because there are far superior players on board, I already made analysis of many players in other threads, even a few minutes ago I posted why Ellington is far superior. This thread is like a twitter feed, I am not going to give a detailed in-depth breakdown. So stop shitting on anything negative, I have done my homework, I am allowed to not like a pick.
smh... So.. Maybe you should try to pay attention to the draft a little bit more before you come at me and my high horse.
Remember last year when every player drafted made the roster? I doubt that happens again with the first two fourth rounders basically battling for the same spot of 5th/6th WR and ST contributor.
