Agree that Bryant was not elite. But he had better numbers than WATKINS has size and also ran a 4.4. I'm just sayin

We needed an explosive player, long time coming.

Amaro is a beast and will do work. But it would be nice to have a receiver to put opposite of Decker. Who is it right now??

Saunders is smaller. Yes. I think he is going to be more than just a gadget player/special teams guy.

Watching his games, he is very tough, physical, he runs very good routes, makes some fantastic catches and is a playmaker.

I like this pick a lot. I would be lying if I said his build didn't scare me but I think that is very overblown a lot of times, it's about the heart and will. I think this kid has a good chance to do some good things.

He dominated Alabama last year. Just saying.

Yeah, Saunders is kind of electric, I could grow to like this pick a lot, definite fit for WCO.

Sanders is fast. You know who's also fast? Jeff Janis and he's 6-3.

I'm not a fan of small WRs unless they're fast and well-buit like Brandin Cooks.

He might be a Jacoby Jones kind of guy. Maybe not your every down WR, but a huge speed threat that can hit the home run given an appropriate chance.

Putting up better #s than ODB while playing opposite Watkins is impressive.

All four of the Jets draft selections thus far are tough players. (I am assuming the scouting reports are accurate on McDougle. I actually have not seen him play.)

I know I knocked Saunders size but if he pans out anything like Leon Washington did at explosive plays I'll be pretty pleased.

Is Enunwa still on the board? If so I want him. he's 6'2. 225, strong as fuck, decent speed, great hands. we got a small fast guy now I want us to get a big WR. I'll take Moncreif as my second choice.

Lol. My bad. I'm on the LIRR bouncing a sleeping baby and holding a dog while I type.

It seems the Jets are giving Geno Smith in a WR like Saunders, a weapon who plays the role Austin did for Geno in WVU, could that be the Jets line of thinking? something along those lines?

Isn't this guy very similar to Jacoby Ford? Small and fast. Seems like a duplication of someone we have on the roster already.

That's what I was alluding to before. He isn't the player Austin is but he serves as someone that is comfortable for Geno Smith as a weapon.

Really like the Saunders pick. He's a tough physical player trapped in a smurf body. He's going to be another of the team leaders in a couple of years holding everybody else to play all out because if he can do that everybody else should be able too also.

    Really, really like the pick.

Jets are taking tough players in this draft that will bring it on the battlefield. They already have a few of those but this draft is solidifying that into part of the team image.
