Were Eric Decker & Chris Johnson on the Jets last year? No
Are they on the team this year? Yes.
Are they better than anyone we had on the team last year at their position? Yes
Does that mean we've improved the offense before going into the draft, even a little bit? YES.
Is Vick capable of better QB play than Gino if needed. Yes.
Shit, even Jacoby Ford is better than Salas, Sudfeld, Obomguoo, Hill, Gates, Cribbs, Reuland etc...

SO STOP FUCKING CRYING ABOUT NOT DRAFTING A WR IN ROUND 1! A draft, every mamaluke in the nation says is a deep draft for WR's! (not so much for Safeties)

We also needed Secondary help, which half of you twits argued for. Just because we didn't take a CB doesn't mean we didn't strengthen our D-Backs! Landry is milk toast. Allen? Nothing special. Bush/Jarret? Expendable.

I swear some of you people pout and spew the most asinine nonsense because you are miserable douches with the brain capacity of a dog eating shit. And this coming from a miserable prick Jets fan. Fuckin' TGG...

    Round 2+ WR, TE, CB, 43OLB, G

The people complaining are probably the same folks who were complaining 24 hours into free agency. For some Jets fans it's only about complaining.

Considering how much people have been begging for and predicting offense in round 1, the reaction last night was shockingly rational. Other than the Cooks diehards and the perpetual darksiders I was kinda stunned to be honest.

Could Idzik actually be training Jet fans to be...PATIENT????

After the way the draft unfolded after we picked (2 WR picked , 3 Safeties picked) not to mention 3 more CB's, Im even more satisfied with the Pryor pick.

Its obvious at this point there are wayyyy more offensive targets out there to select then secondary guys. And considering those were our two biggest needs I much rather be looking for the WR/TE right now then the CB/S.

    OP gets it.

Now..how aggressive do we get here? Stevie Johnson was just sent to the 49rs for a 4th.

I hope we can find a way to land 2/4 (1 per position) Lee/Matthews or ASJ/Amaro

Bills are so dumb I don't get it. Spending 2 1st round picks on a WR and shipping off the only one on their team that consistently beat Revis for peanuts.

    Sounds good.

I'll let Idzik continue to build our offense correctly.

Whoa Jacoby Ford better than Hill or Cribbs? I don't think so..he runs back kicks, that's his only job in life. He had 13 receptions for 99 yards last year.

Jacoby Ford is better than Salas. Hill still has potential, this is his last year though but has more potential than ford, and ford is the same as cribbs...gna be a better 4/5 wr though.

That would be a scary good draft. That Revis 4th vs 3rd really stings right now. It would be so much easier to get 2 picks by the middle of the 2nd with that, or maybe even 3 if you wanted to get really crazy and bundle together almost everything besides the comp picks to add something like Lee/Matthews+ASJ/Amaro+SuaFilo. I'd even accept a worse WR i.e. Landry to get that done and I'd give up probably all the available picks knowing there are 4 good comps besides but would be surprised if Idzik gets that aggressive.

Take that back..Lee is going within top 3 tonight.

Matthews would be a huge get for us. Really like ASJ..trade up for him as well.

Assuming that's true I'd probably prefer to target ASJ a few picks later or Amaro right after ASJ goes then trade back up as high as you can get for BPA WR (hopefully Matthews but realistically one notch down.) If ASJ made it to 40 we might be able to make that move for less than a 4th which would be awesome and leave plenty of ammunition to target a good WR or OL after.
