This is incredibly shortsighted and incredibly stupid.

Point of interest (maybe)...Idzik just got up and left in the middle of the post-pick presser...trade-up?? :p

I like the player, the only thing I don't like is we still have this glaring as s*it hole at CB...Milliner and Kyle Wilson as our leading corners against Brady and his posse, against Watkins-Stevie Johnson and the Bills' other speed guys and even Wallace-Hartline in Miami?

    I like the pic.
I really like Idzik right now. I think he is building something intense.

Can't get everyone in one fell swoop fellas. Kerley, Decker, CJ, Ivory, and possibly Vick are more than enough to move the chains...

its funny, you can almost call the guys that will surely love the pick and guys that will surely hate the pick no matter who it is.

i personally like the pick. i think he fills a big need and has the talent to be a real difference maker. probably looking at bpa and position of need on this pick.

It's a stupid pick. Once again Rex Ryan gets his defense... He's not even going to be as good as Clinton-Dix and this team needed offense (cooks) in the worst way.

You know we did get 2 good players in free agency?

Clyde gates and Schillens are not our starting WR anymore.

At the end of this draft you will be singing a different tune.

The jets are going to walk away with at least 6 starters from the 12 picks they have.

I'm very happy with the direction that this team is heading in.

11 picks to go! Many receivers are there waiting to be a Jet. Stop sounding like a SDOJF!

No offense to what his brother's done here, but I really feel like Rex got a taste of a LaRon Landry for a year and wanted it back. Pryor can be that guy - an absolute punisher across the middle. Corners can be made, truck-hitting safeties are rare. Pryor could be Bob Sanders without the perpetual IR (fingers crossed).

I'm not a fan of this pick at all. Idzik has been a disappointment for me so far. Hopefully I'm wrong...

He's going to say that every single year, true or not. I'm not necessarily saying they should've taken Manziel, but if he really had Pryor over Manziel then he's a terrible GM. And that's just one example

SOJF lamenting prematurely! We have 11 picks to go in a very deep draft! June 1 cuts are around the corner. We will do well not to cry in our beer.

Pryor is better value and hits a bigger need for the team in 2014.

I got faith in this FO to deliver a good player here.

IDZIK did OK last year when the SOJF cried over the RICHARDSON pick. How did that turn out?

Our CB play looked worse than it was without safety help.

Aside from not going offense, which I don't get, safety was a good pick.

We also had Cromartie last year. Granted an injury-hampered Cromartie but still. Just re-signing him would have made the corner picture look a lot better unless they thought his legs were shot.
