He's too smart to coach up either of our 2 morons.

Chad is still one of my all time favorite Jets. It's really a shame his shoulder got destroyed, otherwise he could have really been something special for us.

I hated the manner in which we let Chad go.
We punished a selfless player, who gave everything he had for his team.
And at the same time rewarded selfish-gun slinger .. look at me brett favre. ( who just used the Jets to get out of greenbay )

That year Chad went to Miami and won the division and the Jets flopped...
Only time I have ever been happy Miami won and the Jets flopped.. ( although it made me feel dirty )

Chad is my favorite Jet quarterback,, the baby-faced killer

As much as I hate the Dolphins and as much as I enjoyed most of the 2008 season, one of the most bittersweet loses I've ever been to live was that final game when Pennington beat us. He was a great Jet and deserved better.

    What could have been.

I really liked Chad the person, and through the beginning of the 2003 season I thought he was the guy that could get us there.

Then that Buffalo game happened, he dove for that extra yardage and pretty much tore his own shoulder up. He was such a competitive guy.

Over the next few years I kept waiting for that old Chad to come back, but he just could not throw the ball. The only reason he stayed competitive was between the ears.

He's a sentimental favorite for me but he is also a source of heartbreak, I wanted him to be the guy.

It was pretty sad to watch him get disemboweled by the Ravens in the playoffs. I'm okay with the fact that happened to the dolphins and not the Jets.

    Three words, man. Three words:

    JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

If he came to the Jets at the time Mark tagged along, he surely would have gotten us to the promised land.

As is obvious from my forum name, he was my favorite Jets QB during my lifetime.

Hard feelings??? How about the hard feelings Jet Fans SHOULD have about him playing for Miami?

Ftr, a starting Qb who can't stay on the field is a starting Qb who costs you games. Well, at least Quincy Carter went 2-1.

That was a great game to watch. F Miami and the players wearing those faggy uniforms. Whoever they used to play for.

Hopefully it goes over better than Namath screwing up the superbowl coin toss.
