I am here to tender an invite to a Colts board http://www2.indystar.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=10 to have you come on over and talk football. I just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a good game and no injuries.
Thanks for the invite...but....... After reading It just sets it in stone...Colts fans have no clue about football.
we do have a lot of idjits posting there but we also have some good knowledgable fans. and Coltsfreaks is a board unto itself. Anything you guys want to know ask and I will see if I can shed some light. If ya don't want to come over it's cool but most of the peeps in that thread you saw are Pats fans(since we can't get rid of em) and we would enjoy the change. Lke I said hoping for no injuries and a hard fought competitive game.
Do you see half the people we have here? What do you think a guy who is a colt's fan like you're a jets fan thinks about this website?
It's sounding like Reggie will play. He is to rejoin the team today. The funeral is Tuesday, which is the Colts' day off, so I figure many will be going to New Orleans for that. Dungy said his playing on Sunday is "likely". And let me echo something ColtsFan in CA said. We do have our court jesters over there. And those that are gung-ho beyond reasoning! But every team/site has those. Mostly, good folks who know football. You just have to sift a little! BTW, this is my first post! It took awhile to get authorized to do so! Good luck on Sunday, and NO INJURIES! And, of course, a Colts win!
I never really minded the colts because I am a big SU fan and was a big fan of Harrison and Freeney. I just kinda get annoyed by some of the big headed fans over the last 3 years because of their thinking that their team is immortal. But other than that I hope its a replay of the playoff victory we so kindly walked away with
Eh, what do you expect? The Colts have been the winningest regular season team of late. Fans get used to it! Of course this is little different than Jets fans pointing out the 41-0 spanking and saying it will be the same. Different personnel, different years. (I'm not saying you are doing this, you are just hoping for the same outcome, btw!) Most people don't remember how the Colts backed into the playoffs that year. They were an injured team with little going for it. And that was definitely one of those days. A total team failure! So, no injuries! A great game! And (I have to say it) a Colts W!
Not too bad. The Colts have made the playoffs every year since 1999 except one, so we do get to cheer them on in January! And they've had some success, just ask Denver and KC. They haven't won a SB (yet), but they've been pretty successful, and it's been a good ride. Will they win one? Who knows? 31 teams every year don't. But they've been fun, and exciting. Always exciting!
