    There's no question about Barr's physical tools but he's so raw fundamentally.

    That article is entirely speculation. There isn't one source claiming it.

    In other news, the Jets may trade to the first pick overall for Clowney.

    Of course everything from now on the draft is speculation... Saw the article and wanted to get everyone's opinion on it.

    this would be a mistake IMO. I'm all for trading up if it's the right player and price. going up to get Barr would mean we would have to get into the top 10.

    with all these reports of teams in the top 10 passing on the QB's there is no way Barr leaves the top 10.

    I'm not saying everything isn't speculation. There isn't one source listed in there. That's a writer just making shit up to get coverage. There is no proof to that nor is there any indication of it.

    I can't see trading up in the first. If Barr fell to 18, then that would be a possibility.

    Barr...no question, BPA and we can get a WR in Rd 2 or 3 with the quality of depth in this class.

    Agreed Barr is the BPA at 18 if he's there.

    If they trade up for him or almost anyone in the top 10 then I seriously question Idzik's ability as a GM. The price to do so would mortgage this whole "build through the draft" philosophy that Idzik said he's employing.

    BS article in my opinion. If a Jets official is not quoted you are staring at bullshit. It may even be Jets-planted bullshit but it smells just the same.

    That being said, under most scenarios where Barr's available at 18, he'd be the BPA.
