Colin Kaepernick, the quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, is being investigated for a possible sexual assault in Miami, law enforcement sources tell TMZ. No charges have been filed against Kaepernick, TMZ notes. The alleged incident took place at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami “earlier this month.” No other details are available. Already one of the best young QBs in the NFL, Kaepernick is up for a possible contract extension this summer. In the last two seasons, he’s guided the San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl and the NFC Championship game. The 49ers lost both games in the final minute. Kaepernick was in Miami last week apparently training, according to his Instagram account. He hasn’t updated it since April 6th, and he’s been quiet on Twitter since April 7th..

Doubtful, she admitted a previous sexual relationship with Kaepernick and did not have sex with him that night. Lockette and Patton are just about at league minimum salary so not much money to be had there. It's not even clear if anyone had sex with her from what I have read. I think she just got scared because she couldn't remember how she got to the hospital. One thing is clear, Kaepernick probably lost a few mil off his upcoming extension and all 3 will probably be getting a 4 game suspension. That is the first penalty under the substance abuse policy correct?
So she admits she didn't hook up with anyone. The other two guys peaked in the room but didn't enter it. She passes out and wakes up in the hospital. There's zero evidence reported of sexual assault. So...why is this really news if no one did anything wrong?
It's possible something was left out of the article and police report I read and there may have been alleged sexual assault by Lockette or Patton after she passed out but it was clear that Kaep did not have sex with her that night whether consensual or non-consensual. Edit: Just read a couple more articles and it seems she just filed a police report because she can't remember what happened, nothing else.
I have only seen one report that used those words and it is clear they were just guessing Then there are others that really test the limits though Not sure what else will come out but at this point there is really nothing.
Because this info is a leak of bits of information as opposed to a police report. For whatever reason in this case the details are lacking so the inference is alcohol or drug-induced blackout. Obviously we can rule out thc. I described the accusation as date rape drug because alcohol poisoning isn't accusatory here.
