This game could very much be similiar to the pats game, but in the jets favor my prediction: 34-31 jets, with an unfortunate injury on the jets. Also the only way we win this game is if we get 115+ yards
Long time no see, Jet fans! Ok, I'll play. Jets run for 175+ yds on the Colts pourous D-line. Any rb the Jets decide to line up in the backfield will strongly resemble Curtis Martin in his prime. Suit up your grandma and hand her the ball.... she is bound to rip off a good 15 yard run or two on us. Manning puts up 275 yds in the air as he takes full advantage of the mismatched coverages in the Jets secondary during the 3rd and 4th Qtr. (keep an eye out for the elusive Dallas Clark) Pennington ends up throwing 2 Ints while attempting to play catchup in the 4th quarter. Colts 27 Jets 17

Anybody remember the patriots secondary that shut down the colts , over and over guess who the secondary coach was, and D-coordinator thats right you win the prize his name is Mr. Eric Mangini . Look for a huge upset this week as the Jets run over the tiny colt defense (yes i said run ) and force the colts into mistakes on offense . JETS WIN 24 COLTS 14 for the biggest upset of the year !!!!!!
Here's the game plan I think the Jets will employ: 1. Shut down the pass. Make Addai/Rhodes beat you. I'm guessing that they'll play something like a 2-5 a lot of the time and just invite them to throw. They'll bring 6 sometimes and 2 other times. They're going to try to pass a lot, but the looks the Jets show him will be different every series to confuse him a bit. Hopefully, this leads to a couple of turnovers we can use. 2. Grind the ball on offense. Keep Manning off the field as much as possible and run/short pass as much as you can. We might have one shot later in the game when the Colts defense is lulled to sleep, but that's about the amount of chances we'll take this week. The idea is to keep the game close in the 4th and capitalize on any mistakes they make. If the game is something like 17-14 in the 4th, we'll have done a good job. 3. Play smart, mistake-free football. If we have no turnovers and keep it relatively penalty free, we'll have a great chance in the 4th quarter. I'm predicting a close game, but some rookie mistake will cost us and we'll lose 24-17.
Im trying to be optimistic, but no matter what I just cant predict a win here, dont get me wrong I think this is a game that the Jets can win given correct circumstances. but here is my bottomline: Jets 24 Colts 31
i knew it would have been posted i think the jets will hang with the colts...pennington always plays well against manning he had a perfect rating in our 38-31 loss the last time...hopefully w/ a coach/no fake fg td's we can win it

I was at that playoff game. What a great day, but I do not see it happening again surely not Sunday. If we can run the ball we can keep thier O off of the field and keep it close. But alas I must say I do not see a victory for our beloved jets this weekend.
