Rumors is that Eagles are listening for offers. I would gladly trade a 3rd for him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dream on. As much as we would all LOVE to trade a 3rd for DJax its not gonna happen. Not with this GM.
To me not a great fit for the Jets. Doesn't he make 12 mil per and you would think a good in Chip Kelly's O. It's not the draft pick it's the salary.
Don't know if this is 100% true but rumor is he might be had for a third rounder. John Clark CSNVerified account@JClarkCSN Eagles entertaining trade offers for DeSean Jackson, @TheRealDGunnCSN reports on @CSNPhilly, says birds want at least 3rd round pick. https://twitter.com/JClarkCSN/status/446029426250514432 Worried about his contract, but he'd be better than anyone we can likely get in the third round. Plus it'd give us more options to draft in the first round.
Did he and morning wood get along? If so you know Marty is trying to get him. Decker and Jackson on the outside is dangerous. Maybe Idzik can get him to sigh a different contract Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
To be fair, the days of the Jets making character an issue died with Hess. Under Woody, and more so with Rex, character flaws have been like shit to a fly. Luckily sometimes these have worked out fine like with Cromartie and his penchant for bedding every female he laid eyes on. OTOH, Santonio Holmes didn't work out to well. It is a crapshoot with any player and the odds tend to get worse when character flaws are added in, so while I agree with you I don't think that will turn us away.
This guys a major headcase. If he could be had for cheap then I'm all for it, bc it would likely mean we take Ebron in the first round But the way I see the draft in our current state is a WR in the first and then hopefully Sefarian-Jenkins falls to us in the 2nd.
Jackson wants to get paid more right? So it would be a trade + restructure of the contract or just a flat trade?
Anybody ever hear of profootballspot before? http://profootballspot.com/_/nfl/desean-jackson-trade-done-deal-r2263
Idzik needs to do something before the village is set on fire. DeSean Jackson would be a good start and free up the draft picks for other needs.
