Sadly the Jets jerseys I've got are KELLER SANCHEZ REVIS HOLMES COTCHERY & CHREBET.
Needless to say only CHREBET is still in rotation

Yeah, I guess you can add Curtis if you want to, but I`d rather wear a McNeil jersey before Martin. It`s just a personal thing with me. Was never a huge fan of Martin. Mr. 2.4 yds. per carry. I hated those 3rd and 3 scenarios where the Jets would hand off to Martin and he`d get 2 yds.

...and that team that went to back to back AFC title games was built around what exactly?

I'll keep mine in the closet...tossed all my other Jets gear though...sadly Revis represents a standard of excellence that Woody and the retard crew could never live up to and I've had enough.

I have the same luck bro. All the Jets jerseys I've owned are Pennington, Nacho, Revis, and my own name. After all that bad luck, I recently bought a Mo Wilk jersey (which all but certifies him holding out, and switching teams), as well as a C-Mart jersey that I waited way too long to buy.

    ?????

Yea but he wasn't getting paid 12 million dollars dude. You CAN build a DEFENSE (not team) around a star CB, but not at astronomical numbers like that.

Just sits in my closet. Never to be worn again. Maybe I really should give it to Goodwill.

Yeah, I saw that and was going to comment but some are a little too far gone to even bother with.
He was only off by 1.6 avg., not sure how someone gets 2.4 from 4 average yards per carry.

Burning an old jersey is silly. Putting one on a scarecrow you find in the woods is sensible (yes, I did this once). Giving the jersey to Goodwill is the best thing to do.

Agree on the jersey to Goodwill. That used jersey could make some kid, who's family could not ordinarily afford one, very happy.
The whole burning of the jersey thing is just for those wanting that "look at me" moment.

I already took the nameplate off. It will stay blank until I can find a way to legit put a "Mickens" or a "McNeil" in its place.

There were so many times the Jets were at 3rd. & 3 and Curtis would get those very important 2.4 yards for better punting position. C`mon, I`m sure you have a better memory than this. I wasn`t referring to his overall YPC. I think Martin was a class act for the NFL regardless of what team he played for. I`m just not his biggest fan. He also wasn`t the only RB who would come up "just short" of a 1st. down so many times for the Jets. Put it this way. I had no faith he would get the 3.01 yds. needed for a first on 3rd. & 3. It was hit or miss every time. He was no John Riggins, Emmitt Smith or Terrell Davis type, thats certain. You knew those guys would get the 3 yards when needed more often than not.
