I'm here to eat my crow. :sad: I really thought the Bills would take it to the Jets, but it was kind of a strange game -- the Bills' O got untracked all right, but the D wasn't as tough against that young OL as I thought it would be. You were all saying "we gotta contain McGahee" and the Jets didn't, but your pass D got three sacks, a bunch of hurries, some knock downs, and forced two key TOs. Losman throws for 300+ and Pennington for pedestrian numbers, but you guys come out on top. Kudos. I'm not going to say "well, the Jets didn't win the game, the Bills lost it" because the Jets not only forced the Buffalo mistakes, but took advantage of their opportunities when the Bills couldn't. If Pennington can stay healthy and the Jets can get a running game, I think they'll surprise a lot of people around the league.
Aren't you guys sorry now that you didn't take Matt Leinart??? j/k I would have loved it if the Bills had picked Ferguson and Mangold, but they did okay with Whitner and McCargo because they had serious needs at S and DT.
