Nantz/Simms calling 8 games on CBS, the rest on NFL Network.

I hate Thursday Night Football(except for the opener and Thanksgiving) but this is better than what they had and I like seeing 2 late Saturday games on NFLN.

This probably means that the Thursday night games are going to be more prominent match ups.

*CBS is still doing the production for the final games on the NFLN, so Phill Simms and Nantz are going to be there all season, and the NFLN exclusive games will have the CBS producing them. So its all CBS for TNF.

*only a 1 year deal to, sounds like to me they want all three networks to get involved and have em rotate.

I don't think anyone likes Thursday night games.. fans, players, coaches, etc.? WTF is the point.

It sounds like they are flopping, so I don't think they would be any more lucrative than a Sunday game, but maybe I'm wrong, if so than I guess that's the point. Money grubbing NFL

See I don't mind but they have to set it up so that teams coming out of the bye play thursdsay night. It can be done.

The more football, the better, I say.

Yeah, the quality is not as good, but I would rather watch an NFL game on Thursday than not watch an NFL game.

Thank God, no more Mayock - all he does is talk about the fucking draft.

Tirico is annoying as shit, Collinsworth is just unbearable; unavoidable, and Buck is boring as hell.

Not a huge fan of Thursday games but better CBS than NFLN I guess.

Much, much better. The NFL is meant to be played on the major networks. And I actually like CBS the best out of all of them. Big upgrade over that NFLN crap which almost didn't feel like regular season games. I'd still rather have more Saturday games like they used to in the last few weeks of the season but this is a good start.

Thank god, the garbage that NFLN was putting out made me want to watch the games on mute.

i really like the saturday games late in the season, they used to play double headers on saturdays after college was done with the regular season and before the bowls if i remember correctly.

id much rather get a few more games that matter late in the season than the stupid thursday night games.
