I would love to have this guy on the roster an explosive deep threat that could challenge any defense..........

I think he's a good player, a #2 but I like him. Can also return kicks and punts

Just read the Seahawks are likely releasing Percy Harvin also.

You mean Sidney Rice. The other often injured Vikings receiver they aquired for huge money.

He's a decent receiver but nothing to get excited about.

I rather we go after someone else.

I wouldnt mind him at all. He would be a solid addition to our team.

I wanna draft our own players . The seahawks are the youngest team in the league and look at how they built that powerhouse.

Sanders is young and explosive and would come at a reasonable price. If the Jets signed him and Golden Tate and drafted a receiver early i'd love it.

Word has it that Golden Tate's re-signing at a 'home team discount' and will be staying in Seattle.

Golden Tate is a last option player. Not someone we should make a focus of our free agent acquisition.

I'll believe that when I see it.

Not saying it won't happen but we'll see.

Sanders has very questionable hands. I'd rather the Jets bring in someone else.

    Whats wrong with Golden Tate?

Led the league in broken tackles for receivers.

Had the best YAC per reception in the league out of everyone who played 700 or more snaps

When the ball was thrown to him he caught it 68.8% of the time which was better then Decker, Nicks, or Sanders this year and better then Maclin's last year in which he was healthy.

Only had 3 drops all season, can return punts, and had 900 yards receiving in a run first offense.

And he did all this playing 200 less snaps then the average starter plays.

    Two things:

    1. Reasonable price [LESS than 5m/yr]
    2. Long term

If he takes these two, I wouldn't mind him at all.

Nothing's wrong with him. I feel he's a number 2. When I say we need a number 1. I need a guy that scares other teams. When we played the Seahawks last year I was more worried about Sidney Rice and Lynch than I was of Tate. Maclin is that guy he's the best receiver in free agency. He's the guy we need to target.

I think Tate has the potential to be a number 1 receiver more so then Maclin does. I also believe he's the best FA receiver on the market. I never thought Maclin was all that good. He would make for a decent number 2 IMO.

I know he was technically the number 1 in Philly but that doesnt mean he was that good.

    1. James Jones
    2. Jeremy Maclin
    3. Emmanuel Sanders

In that order, try and get one. Also draft a WR early.

Staying on the Maclin / Tate boat.

Rather stay away from Pittsburgh players after the Holmes fiasco
