only way i'd even consider Martin, if its a min deal for 1 year, to compete for a spot on the team as a backup. i don't think that's the deal he'll be looking for tho.

 

He wasn't a good player. While thinks incognito said we're awful, this kid manipulated the situation to leave the dolphins and still get paid. When jay glazer got all the text messages from incognito. He confirmed they were harsh, but also stated martins text to him were of the same quality. Bad situation he was in. Handled wrong by him and I don't think you can trust a guy like this. He's got mental issues in my opinion.

 

I think Richie Incognito is an asshole, but he was clearly the victim in this situation.

They've started to talk about the texts that Martin sent to Incognito and it sounds as if Martin was a giant bag of douche as well. This guy didn't have the heart to play football and he tries to blame someone else for his issues.

The man almost single handedly ruined the Dolphins season. He's a hero in my eyes.

Nope... Look at some of the texts he sent to Incognito.. Guy is a fraud and a pussy... Wouldn't last a week in New York.

 

Anyone who believes that Martin got bullied also believes that Manti Teo is still dating his dead fake girlfriend. If you read the texts between Martin and Icognito (who I despise for his is dirty play), you will see that despite the inappropriate language, Martin was giving as much as taking from Icognito. Plus the most recent info out there is that Martin himself was involved in the hazing of other players and was about to lose his starting job due to poor play before his emotional breakdown. Martin is a mental case and the Jets should stay far away from him.

Next year we'll see Martin & Incognito together on the Jets and we'll find out the entire thing was fabricated as part of Rex's master plan to screw the Dolphins and take their players.

 

Absolutely not. When has he pancaked anyone into the turf??? I don't see him being a stud on any line. Also, you want an O-lineman with some NASTY to him. Even though he was not the best guard, at least Slauson had a mean streak. Colon has a mean streak, and his swagger was a bullwhip throughout the line this year. Martin does not come off that way. F him and let's develop guys who have a mean streak and play physical or as Rex would say "Play like a Jet".

IMO, offensive linemen have to be the toughest sob's on the team. Any 300+ lb man that does not take being bullied into his own hands, is soft. He would not be on any O line that I had a hand in putting together.
