Any STHs get an email about this? It's open to the public as well but STHs get 50% off tickets.

Anyone considering going? Prices are steep, especially for the "evening" sessions but considering how much one bleeds green, it could be worth it...

I suppose the hardest thing to do would be deciding on which day or night to attend...

Here is a link to the information page and full rundown of which players will be making appearances: http://www.newyorkjets.com/jetshous...-7ddc-4250-9c7e-0c580b75e434}&cm_medium=email

"On February 2, 2014, New York and New Jersey will make history with the first-ever cold weather Super Bowl. While the NFL has a lot of plans for its big game, the Jets are excited to announce that they'll be right down the road from Super Bowl Boulevard with their very own Jets House at the 50 Yard Lounge.

Jets House is the premiere destination for the Jets community the week leading up to the big game.

*Where: Jets House located at Lugo Caffe in Manhattan at 1 Pennsylvania Plaza (33rd St between 7th and 8th Ave).
*What: All-inclusive premium food and beverage, meet & greets with Jets Legends, NFL players, Coaches, Celebs and Flight Crew Cheerleaders, live TV and radio broadcasts, music, entertainment and much more!
    *When: Wednesday, January 29 through Sunday, February 2, 2014 - Day session 9am to 3pm, night session 6pm to 1am. "

the 99 dollar fee will keep the crowd pretty timid id imagine

I got an offer from Gilt or Groupon for the Superbowl day for $500. They named no Jets or former Jets or coaches at all and had Joe Theisman as their main attraction. There better be a lot of steak and lobster included.

I am stunned they are charging so much for this, the league is putting on all these events and autograph signings for free and the Jets are charging outrageous prices to get sigs of guys who have never won anything(yet)?

The NFL would KILL to make that happen. If they were a brand new league, they would definitely pull a stunt like that. Unfortunately for them it makes it harder to switch to PPV when you've been on free television since it's inception. I don't necessarily think it's on the horizon, but I guarantee they've explored the option.

If the NFL loses the blackout rule I expect them to go some form of PPV or pay cable as the majority of their televised events. I don't think the Super Bowl will go there though. The NFL makes a ton of money off of that game indirectly and it's good advertising for the sport itself.

people work during the day, kids are in school. if food and drinks are included the half price for season ticket holders is good for the weekday afternoon session but why do you keep ignoring the much more expensive evening sessions and who has time to go in the afternoon? even w/ STH discount it's $300-375 per person.

and the biggest point you are ignoring is all the other NFL events are free. if people are into autographs they can get SB MVPs and great players for free but we need to pay for Tommy Bohanon and Ellis Lankster? No offense to those guys as I appreciate what they do but it doesn't make sense what the Jets are doing to their fans.
