better to trade down for more picks or just stack talent at that position. you are one injury away from needing another rb. it's called depth. look at the saints, they got a 4th for ivory, who was 3rd string on their team.
in other words, if you draft only for need, you expect to solve all your needs in one draft. not smart, never works out. bpa is a method that works over the long haul, consistently, with a free agent one in a while to fill a need if you are very close to being elite.
where the steelers are concerned, they finished with same record, but beat us head to head, had tiebreaker. something is wrong with how they get to pick ahead of us.
Me too, I DO NOT WANT Tajh Boyd.....I'd love Manziel and if we can't get Watkins or Manziel, then i'd draft best WR/TE available at 18(if we can't trade up)...I'd do ANYTHING to have JAMEIS WINSTON(if we can't get Manziel...."Broadway Johnny Football...AHH I LOVE that sound!!)...But if we can't get him then I hope we get in on Winston whenever he leaves FSU(my college team...I'm a JETS fan because my dad grew up loving Joe Namath, my dad passed away 2 1/2 years ago, but i'll always be a JET because of my dad..i love you dad...r.i.p...Wish he couda seen the Noles game the other night!!)....Also, i'm not sure if Kelvin Benjamin is leaving FSU this year(I doubt it), but if we had Manziel or JAMEIS hitting Kelvin Benjamin, Evans/Watkins/Lee, Kerley and David Nelson, our offense would be INSANE, heck throw in Kenny Shaw or Rashad Greene from the Noles too...Those Noles are gonna be bad a$$ players in the NFL..I wish it could be for my JETS!!
With our 4th round pick, I would draft LaMarcus Joyner..DB out of FSU if he is still on the board, which is unlikely...I may take him in the 3rd, depending on what we do in FA.
Nevermind, most mock drafts have Joyner going no later than the 2nd round & a lot of them have him going in the 1st. So with our 4th round pick I'd draft James Wilder Jr. out of FSU. This guy is EXTREMELY powerful and he bLasts through defendersand he also explodes after cuts. This guy will be a STUD in the NFL. He's much better than Bi'lal Powell, and I'd argue that he's more talented and definitely faster than Chris Ivory.
