seems like this could happen, if so I would say bring him in. At age 27 the guy still has a solid 3-4 years ahead of him...he's continued to prove he can play with the best of them receiving over 1000yards in 3 of his last 4 years with not so good qb play. What do you think?

I wouldn't drop too much cash on a guy that hasn't been healthy in two years. On the cheap? Sure. But I don't think he's going to be cheap.

Depending on the price, intriguing player.

In the last 4 years he's missed 4 games and all 4 were this year...he played all 16 games the 3 years before this one. I do remember him playing through a groin injury last year, but he still managed to rake in 1000yards only proving he can do better when 100%.

Don't want any part of him on this team.

He will be a good addition to an established team looking for an extra WR as a luxury. Not a team like us trying to establish an identity on offense. He's not a guy you build around because he's not committed to football/winning. He does his own thing out there too which makes it tough for a young QB.

I would agree with you there, he can be a distraction...I was thinking more along the lines of if we drafted a Mike Evans or Eric Ebron this would the guy lining up on the other side. Both Ebron and Evans are both big targets, I was thinking Johnson as more of the speed guy.

I'd trad a 4th or 5th rd pick for the guy... can't argue with his production.

Id love Stevie. I think he'd be a great addition. As long as we dont stop at Stevie and still sign another receiver and maybe draft one too.

if they are cutting him for cap purposes i am guessing we don't want that number either. might be better off letting him hit the market. i.m.o.

I can't access rotoworld for some reason at work, but according to overthecap, cutting Stevie Johnson would only save the Bills $25,000. What am I missing?

The article says in 2015 it's realistic but makes no sense this year.

I'd take him since tone is most likely out, but i wouldn't settle for just him we still could use a true #1. With nelson getting extended where does he fall on the depth chart?

    1. (Free Agent or Draft pick)
    2. Nelson???
    3. Kerley
    4. Hill

i liked what Nelson did him and geno were clicking toward the end of the season but I'm not to comfortable with him starting at #2 .. too slow and sometimes fades out of the game, trustworthy hands though.

nelson fades out of the game but you have to understand that he came in and learned the playbook on the fly. hes got a lot of talent, size and great hands. his route running seems to only be improving as well. he can be a big time red zone target for this offense, and he has shown he can get separation all over the field. im ok with nelson at 2, kerley in the slot and a big fast number 1 with hill able to come in and stretch the field when necessary. hill really needs to put it together this season or he is going to get buried on the depth chart and find himself out of a job.

I'd almost rather have Holmes back on a cheaper deal. Plenty of other guys will be available.

Can't pass up the opportunity to add a guy like this to our roster. I'd still want another top receiver but this kid can play.

I still think he's overrated. Every time I watch him on TV he happens to suck.

Well it would clear the number totally for the Bills in 2015, otherwise it's $5.65M in dead money. That money can go toward Dareus or extending Spiller.
