The AP DROY is the official award. Winners are selected by a nationwide panel of 50 media members of the Associated Press.
Ya know, I was kind of wondering about that. They aren't official or represent the official NFL DROY. The site made a name for itself with advanced stats, yet uses fan voting to determine rookie of the year? That doesn't make the least bit of sense to me. He already graded out to be the highest rookie in the first round by at least double the points of all the others, so how does he not win? Fans should never have voting power for this stuff. They all are going to just vote for people on their team.
