As much as I would love to add Watkins on this team, it's just not very realistic that it's gonna happen. Idzik's not the type to trade half his draft for one player.
i know it's not a 'wise' or 'cool-headed' way to think, but i am absolutely thrilled, still, that the jets stepped-up and ended the season at .500 and shut-up a lot of 'experts. obviously the 'smart' move for the future would have been a tank, but i like this situation better.
You quoted my post on the first page, but I'm not sure you read it. A deal like that has no where near the value it would take to move up far enough to grab Watkins in the first if you believe he is worth a pick in or near the top ten.
Me too. I will never understand that. You are a fan to watch your team and hope they win. Cheering for anything else makes no sense. Especially when you know there isn't another game for 8 months.
I've loved Watkins for over a year now. I hope he runs a shitty 40 time and gets caught in a scandal with multiple hookers so he can drop in the draft
