I think the current system is fine and has worked well for just about forever....even better than ping pong balls

I would rather have the 18th pick than have any chance of Miami winning a Super Bowl at Metlife stadium.

Plus I'd rather play the Steelers at home and Titans away than the Ravens and Jags (though that's debatable).

The only place the Jets are pretty much set at is the DL...everyplace else has room for improvement overall.

    forward thinking, makes sense

though I doubt Miami would have made it out of the wildcard round but you never know these days

Draft is a crapshoot, much rather end the fish season.

Yeah I second this. All we heard this week was how Miami is such a better team than us. I never felt that way and I'm soo glad we showed it today. When geno isn't turning the ball over we have the potential to beat any team in the league. It's just too bad we couldn't have gotten 1 more win, and then it'd be us in the playoffs.

I'm happy with us picking 18th, sure 11th would have been better but all we have to do is continue taking the bpa and we'll be fine. Even if we take another cb this year.

if we take a Corner Round 1 this forum will explode

I agree on BPA though but free agency will tell us a ton

I would imagine at least one of Watkins/Evans/Lee/ Ebron/Amaro will be there

    the 1st two wont

I think Amaro is the perfect pick at this spot then we take one of the WRs that falls out of the 1st Round

maybe Davante Adams, who's floor is very high which I prefer

I think the correct and verifiable term posted was "tremendously better" followed almost immediately by a list of 11 or 12 of the other 15 AFC teams that were " clearly" better

Why? That would be the sensible approach.

The draft speculators start earlier and earlier each year. I swear many of you would rather there be a draft held each Sunday instead of a football game.

We only have 4.5 months more of this….

Below is the order with the strength of schedule (SOS) numbers to indicate the tiebreaker. For the NFL Draft, the first tiebreaker rule is SOS, the easier SOS earning the earlier selection. Division and Conference tiebreakers are next and if teams are still tied, a coin flip will determine the team that picks first (** Indicates a coin flip to break ties).

Would definitely say the top te or wr available. Need to start adding some playmakers. watkins/evans/ebron I think are the top choices

and it would have required a terrible performance by Geno for us to lose - I would take a positive game from Geno going into the offseason over a few slots in the draft.
