Just a heads up for anyone who was interested in watching this. (On SNY) I am leaving it on just to see if my question (it'd be Matt from New York) about the Jets running game gets on the air. They will be answering all the questions sent in when the commerical break is over. Edit : So far it seems that he is answering questions from people who were interviewd in public. Some guy just made his point about Chad running the QB Sneak on 1st and 10. Here come the e-mail questions.
My question didn't get answered this week. Maybe next week? So far he's really hasn't said much. Vilma is talking about last weeks game. His best D plays : Barrets INT last week, and Kerry Rhodes forced fumble against Brady last week. Now he's talking about the Bills next week. He's exicited to play them and how they are goig to have stop McGahee. Main objective : STOP THE RUN and then care about PJ Losman.
Mike is back on, talking about the emergence of Kerry Rhodes and how he is doing so far this season. If I just heard right, he compared him to Polamalu (as far as progression goes from Year 1 to Year 2 of his NFL carrer). Now he is talking about Bryan Thomas and the Special Teams play to block the FG last week. When the commercial break is done, Mike will break down the Bills team. Edit: It's back on. Mikes was just talking about the risk of the Bills drafting McGahee and how it must have been hard for them to do. He just talked about how the Bills love Losman and what they gave up to get him. He's in the middle of talking about the Bills starting rookie safties. Says tha'ts rare that they are starting. They just showed a clip of the Jets@Bills 02' game. Overtime win for the Jets when Morton ran back the kickoff And now it's over. Hope everyone actually reads everything I wrote
I sure would like to know why someone as slow and fragile as Chad would call a qb sneak. The better question would have been to ask Mangini if he told Chad "don't ever do that sh** again".
why call the sneak? maybe to get the 1st down. you know they've penetrated and stuffed the running game the entire day, and a sneak is very difficult to defend because it's quick and teams don't practice against it. furthermore, i don't think there have been many QB injuries involving sneaks. cheers
on that drive barlow didnt get more than 2 yards on all of his carries. Then Pennington sneaks and what do you know 3 yards!
