Avalanche United gets spoiler of the decade award, cost me and dday the division and cost Mean Machine a bye in the last three weeks. Every team in the Namath division finishes over .500 amazingly enough.

I barely made the playoffs in my other league too, came back from 4-7 '09 Jets style to squeeze in on point tiebreaker.

Heck of a finish to the regular season.

Ill keep saying it, I feel like this year is my year. Completely turned my team around, every player is playing well at the right time, and once Julius comes back I should be even better.

Good competitive season. See you next year fellas. Anyone in my team (sans AJ) is up for trade in the offseason.

Wait, I'm in the playoffs?! I did not expect this lol...I guess it went to points tiebreaker with three teams since me, dday and Greenballs were all 1-1 against each other. Funny I thought we broke the division tie first then I went into a tiebreaker with Greenballs NFL-style. Then again the division tie got broken by points anyway since we all went 1-1 against each other too. Oh well, I'll take it. Probably makes more sense for a 2nd place team in one division to make it with a higher point total than a 3rd in the other anyway.

Looks like we have a rematch of the baseball championship in the football playoffs then wildthing...what were the odds?

Two rounds, too early though. My luck is that I'll lose this week and outscore the remaining playoff teams the rest of the way....

BTW - I just won top scoring team of 2013 by 3.3 points or .254 points a week, smallest margin in league history. Trophies were also handed out. Note this is the first year where no one won at least 11 games.

Including the year on Yahoo this is the 10th season of this league.

    What's gives Chris?

I beat Swamps head to head, yet I am the odd man out of the playoffs?

You lost on the 2nd tiebreaker which was total points scored since you all tied at 1-1 in H2H(You beat Swamps, lost to Dblitz and Swamps beat Dblitz).

Apparently tiebreakers work like in the NBA and NHL where divisions don't matter in playoff seeding after division champs.

    http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/resources/help/faq?name=how-do-playoff-tiebreakers-work
Here's the default order of precedence according to the rules:

    H2H - tied 1-1
Points For - lost by 71.3 points
    IntraDivision Record
    Points Against
    Coin Flip

That's how ESPN does it, if you want true NFL style then we'll have to vote on it later on.

2014 Draft order - don't let me forget this time....
    1. Wombats
    2. NYJ UNC
    3. Revenge
    4. Hellcats
    5. MSUJet
    6. Boys Club
    7. Ain't Easy
    8. Avalanche
    9. Greenballs
    10. Blitzer

    11-16. TBA playoffs

Will be taking suggestions for the owner meetings after the new year such as playoff seeding tiebreakers, punters, roster size, etc. Post them here, I'm already doing the punters and playoff tiebreakers so no need to add them.

To your credit you had this as a possibility beforehand, I missed that part of your post last week too. It's definitely hard to have a completely agreeable tiebreaker with four teams in two divisions all at 8-5 vying for one division and one wild card considering head to head all got split. Points seem like the fairest way to do it in that instance.

Thanks and yeah that's pretty rough. This is definitely a competitive league though - particularly our two divisions, glad I made the playoffs in my third season.

Guess I couldn't pull another rabbit out of the hat this week. Would have been nice to go on a run this year with Peyton playing as well as he has but Brees pretty much matched him this week and just couldn't get enough out of the rest of my team in the end. Doggone Cruz and Garcon, if they did anything at all I might have finally beat Mean Machine.

Oh well it was an interesting season anyway...see you all at the draft.

Someone in the losers bracket put up 220 points today. He had Jamal Charles and Nick Foles.

It all comes down to Ray Rice vs. the Lions. If he gets 21.3 I win, if he doesn't I won't.

He's reached it twice this season so it's not a complete lost cause.

Cyprien not playing could kill me. Never realized he was out until after 1 pm. I would have picked up Woodson who would have given me a little more of a cushion.

Things should be interesting tonight, as I anticipated.
