Where's the damn roof on ours? No Super Bowl, fans have to freeze their a$$es off....it's 2006!! It's called progress. We're in the Northeast, and the technology is there so paying cutomers doen't have to get rained on, snowed on, frozen solid.....plus we get a Super Bowl here to boot.

Of course, people will come on and say how we will lose our home field advantage with a roof...... Patriots don't have a roof. Please, who cares, put a roof on so people can enjoy the game. We suck anyway. New Englanders eat ice for breakfast, screw them. We need a roof!

Thats the great state of NJ at work for ya. They are already making the Jets move their team head quarters to Nj to make an estimated 9-15 million off taxes . Allegidly the teams HYJ and NYG will bank 184 million a year off of advertisments alone . Then tickets will be more food parking and sovigners so who makes out more the teams of the state who will fork the money for the Infrastructior while the teams pay for the field and land !

How lame... Why should they give a f*** about the fans freezing? They've been freezing for how many years now?
Want warmth, stay at home, or go to a B-Ball game... Come on...

Why? If the technology is there to build a stadium with a retractable roof, why not build it here? Doesn't the Northeast qualify as a place that would benefit from it? I'll go no matter what, but I'm allowed to complain. This is a Jets site dealing with Jets issues. You're also allowed to call me lame for doing so, but I noticed you said 'They've been freezing.......'. See, I'm one of the 'they' and I'm freaken sick of it. If it's not necessary and they still make the fans freeze, or get rained on, that's just dumb. Don't forget, once the weather turns the Jets lead the league in no shows every year. I'm not one of them, I go no matter what. ..but don't you think they would make more money on beer, food, parking, etc if 25,000 more fans show up on a crappy day?

The only thing a dome complies to is the SB . Thats it not fans not players. It takes away home field advantage . Yea the Colts have some noise but thats it .

The people that argue that we should play outdoors because if we don't we lose our HF advantage are not addressing the fact that the second it gets cold there are 25,000 empty seats @ the Meadowlands for Jets games, and that's a conservative figure. Record has nothing to do with it either.

We need a retractable roof. The benefits outweigh any perceived negatives. This is NY (or NJ). Why can't we fall in line with the rest of civilized society? Because we're tough? Please. We ain't tough. I just told you about the 25,000 emty seats, and that can't be disputed.

Super Bowl, Final 4, Rock Concerts in December, and on and on.
