We are an overall bad football team...

As most of us predicted by prior to the season...We are fortunate to have played even ball for the first 10 weeks in the record column.

Misguided belief of a playoffs run was always a pipe dream...We have the worst offense in the NFL, and I don't blame Marty...The player personnel is so terrible, it may be one of the worst passing offense in Jets history.

    Agreed!

I was so hoping to remove my tagline Jon Gruden quote this season, but alas it still holds true.
For all those crying for Simms, it is quite evident that the problems on this team offensively are far deeper than Sanchez, Geno and the QB position. It is useless to worry about the qb position until the line and skill positions are upgraded.

I honestly wish I wasn't a fan of the Jets - they have brought me not a single really positive season the entire 30 or so years I have been following them - this franchise is just "one of those teams" that just never seems to get it right - doesn't matter who the coach is, who the owner is, who the players are, it is just one of those things - I doubt that they will ever win a SB during my lifetime - what really gets me is that when I got into the NFL back in the 80s being from the UK I was so close to following the Patriots (because of the New "England" thing) but decided against it because their logo was so terrible back then - then I nearly went with the Giants but my mate decided to follow them so to spread the interest I went with the Jets - what a terrible, terrible decision - already now I have given up on the season and unless we somehow get a decent QB through FA or a trade then we might as well give up on the next couple of seasons as well because we are never going to get anywhere with what we have on the roster.

Can't wait till the offseason, much deserved change is coming. My 5-11 prediction is still holding up.

no argument there. No QB, catching like Edward Scissorhands and an OL that only shows up 1 play in 3

Damn UK. It's odd to hear stuff like that. I forget that people have choices in whom they cheer for. My Dad was a fan in their first year as the Titans of New York. I was born into it and really never had a choice.

Good or bad, I'll always love them (and hate them), but I agree with you......as each year passes, I feel like I'll never see them win a SB. Breaks my heart a little. I'd also love to see my Dad, who is old and had health problems for years now, see them win one more time. I'd love to share that with him.
