He can't stay healthy. We'd be lucky to get 10-11 games out of him. He's got talent but you'd need a capable backup on the roster.

He's not a capable backup? You think you're getting a quality backup at a better price?

I enjoy seeing puppies being thrown against chain-link fences, so yeah, I'm comfortable with taking him on.

The guy has those kind of leadership qualities and character I think our Jets need right now.

Who said anything about him being a leader? He seems to have handled himself fine in Philly. Shit he's not even crying about not starting.

Is not about a franchise savior, it's about a capable vet to push Geno. There's a difference.

Which big deal? The first or second one?

Vick's had one really good year. Despite all the off field stuff, he's just not very good. If you want a veteran, I think you look for a steady hand who doesn't bring more of a circus to town.

I would love Cutler. I am assuming this thread was a joke so I wont respond.

Well, a 'short term' solution to our QB situation would give Idzik time to re-build the O-Line and get some skill players in here before wasting another pic on a QB only to hear "No rookie QB can do good with a sieve for an O-line and no targets to throw to".

Fair points. Just that Vick makes no sense as that ST solution.

I'm setting you get a guy like Vick who can push Geno and maybe gal just short. A legitimate competition. How do We get any better if we bring in a journeyman back up who had no realistic shot to pay well? It doesn't have to be Vick personally, but I'm dating he did the mold.

No way do I want an injury prone, way past his prime, dog killing QB anywhere near this team.

If he came here, you may as well set the circus tents back up. Fuck him.

The Jets have been playing like dogs for weeks now. Guy like Vick might just scare them straight.

He is familar with MM system but i dont see it happening.I honestly see us taking a shot at Cutler who may not even wanna go back to the Bears and we wanted Cutler when he was in Denver. If none of those things happen then it will come down to draft or Sanchez vs Geno

normally, Brooklyn is an excellent poster who IMO brings a great deal to the table and this community

this effort, however, is not one of his finest moments

let's just chalk it up to a bad day
