Watching Mark Sanchez throw to everybody on this roster not named Winslow, Holmes and Kerley would be worse than having a rabid weasel bite me in the eyeballs.

No, he's not a capable QB.

Sanchez has his moments, yes. But overall the guy is a below average player. I'd take my chances with Simms and Geno next year before I went back to Mark.

We know what we have in him. Garbage.

Sanchez didn't look "fine" to the people that mattered.

Yes because if he was a better QB he wouldn't have been played in the 4th quarter. Not blaming him per say. Just saying.

The point is that all of the stuff involving and surrounding Sanchez -- these decisions the organization must make, the current situation, all of it -- are NOT things that ever come into play with a real franchise caliber Qb.

This thread is about Sanchez specifically; so, don't jump down my throat for responding to stuff about Sanchez.

Again, if Sanchez is such a winner and has an impressive resume, then I guess we'll all get to see that truth when good teams are tripping over each other to be first at the door for him when he's available.

He did rex but he didn't have the power. if he did we'd be in playoff position right now.

This is on Idzik who so far has done a poor job outside of the Richardson pick.

It makes complete sense. Sanchez Fans are more concerned about him than the team, but everyone else will understand that if Idzik can do no better than in his second year, with all that cap space, field a team where Sanchez is the starting qb, then he will be deemed a failure, and properly so.

    It's not going to happen.

I don't think Mark should be back. Not because of his play (he wasn't good for 2 seasons) but because of what this franchise and fans have done, said, etc that surrounds him. It's not fair to him, or the team. Wherever he goes, I'll be rooting for him.

1st Of all Give Simms a shot!

Why play Sanchez in 4 th quarter in Pre season?

I think this was done to help change fans perception of him. Sanchez at that point easily won the qb competition. By having Sanchez go in at the end of a game against 3 rd string defense and padding his stats along with a victory against the giants. That would have made the announcement of Sanchez winning the competition easy to swallow for fans.

That decision back fired obviously bcuz Idzik didn't realize that we had our 3rd string offense in the game.

Ok finally keep Sanchez on The cheap for yr. This league you need a quality back up anyways so it won't hurt to have him. I think he can resurrect his career with MM.

Bob Griffin III. Let's trade for him. Bob for Cromartie, Draino and a 3rd rounder

You really need to give up the man crush on mr cornrows. If he was the QB we would be 2-9 at best or havent you watched the games the last 2 years?

If you really think corn rows could win more than 5 then thats your opinion even if you are wrong. Do I think Geno is the QB of the future? Heavens no but its much better than Sanchez. And talk about embarrasing, how about the 5,000 times we had to watch Sanchez fly into Moore's butt? Bet that was fun, huh?

And you are making fun of the Namath handle? The one QB that actually won something for this franchise? How can you call yourself a fan?

You are correct: what did we ever win with him? He had a loaded team talent wise in 2009 and 10. We won zilch and he did zilch even with all that talent! Its time to get over him and get behind the TEAM. I think REX and MM know what they are doing re talent evaluations.

Please tell us what we won with Sanchez when he had a very talented team on both sides of the ball. The clock is ticking............
