Glennon has some decent offensive weapons, but I can't deny that he's been solid

11tD and 4INT in 7 games...better pocket awareness, good arm, comfortable making all throws. Makes Smith looks like a bust.

Living in Raleigh, I saw Glennon quite a few times, I was hoping pre-draft he would slip to third round and the Jets would grab him there.

NC State now has three alumni QB's starting and playing well in Rivers, Wilson and Glennon.

Definitely impressive, completion % in the 60's, seems to have a good mental state, an grasp for the game.

Glennon doesn't get mauled twice a quarter and hasnt even started as many games as Geno. Lets see glennon play on his 10th consecutive start

Glennon has played in 8 games with 6 starts and completed 168 passes with a completion rate of 62.5. With 14 TDs and only 4 Ints and a rating of 91.6. Yep Glennon was my pick from the start and he is far outplaying Smith and doing it with far less prep work and reps.

It doesn't hurt to have Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams as your starting wideouts

Mike Williams has been out for a while and isn't coming back. Doug Martin isn't coming back either and he wasn't even doing anything when he was playing.

Glennon looks intelligent. He may only ever mature into Alex Smith v2 but he's certainly using the ball well.

    Meanwhile, at the MetLife...

Glennon has been growing nicely. He does have better weapons, but he is by far the more polished passer.

This shit is moot. Different teams, different schemes, different weapons.

How can you compare the two QBs at this point?

I'm really surprised how good Glennon has looked thus far, he's improved game to game and has a lot of poise. Anyway you look at it the Geno and Milliner picks look like complete busts. It's not good for Idzik to have 3 picks in the top 40 picks and completely bust on two of them (Richardson was definitely a Rex pick IMO).

I predicted Smith would break Sanchez's single season turnover mark and per the NFL he has thrown 18 Ints and had 9 fumbles which is already 27 for the year with 5 games to go. Now you can say he has only lost 5 fumbles, but just because another Jet lands on the ball he lost doesn't make Geno any better of a player.

Smith has only thrown 8 TDs and ran for three over 11 games for a great average of 1 TD a game.

Don't let the five wins the team has cloud how bad he has played. In the one win he only completed 42% and had no TD passes.

I once stated there would be ten better QBs in next years draft than Smith, I still hold firm on that comment.

If only completing 39% of your passes and 0 TDs with 5 Ints over the past three games can't get you benched, then you must be truly loved by the HC or GM. I say fire both the GM & HC and start over.
