Geno doesn't strike me as "dumb" so MexicanJet don't you think that's too much?

The guy won't run when thats what the play demands. His arms big enough, his brain isn't and I doubt his heart is either

wasted pick. Rex has done well to get to 5-6 with this guy at QB

Some of you need to get it out of your heads that this is all on Geno. If you think thats it, youre all wrong. I wasnt for starting Geno this season but thats because I knew we didnt have a lot of talent. It was set up for him to fail.

No, I don't. And BarcaBhoy below put it easy for the simpletons.

He stares down his receivers with a blank stupid look on his face, he can't read defenses, and he sounds like a moron in his press conferences. He's got little QB/football IQ.

    The experiment should be over...

So zace...are you on record that the Jets should not draft a qb next year? Geno is the future?

Christ Smith couldn't even emotionally handle, being passed over in the first round, I wonder how his, fragile emotional state, is dealing with the NY media

That game plan today was ALL about Geno. They have zero confidence in him.

Zero. That's BECAUSE of Geno, not in spite of him.

He doesn't always stare down receivers and no he doesn't sound stupid at press conferences. Yes he's struggling but he isn't "dumb".

Last 7 weeks... 50% comp 156 yards per game 1TD/10 INT . How can he be the best option behind center. He is bringing that entire offense down. No flow, no rhythm, no feel, no spark. Announcers are doing what they can to not laugh at him behind center. Rex is going to lose the locker room. The offense down nothing to help the defense and the guys on offense all look defeated.

I have been of the mindset all season.. were not that good. The best thing we can do for the future is let geno play and learn.. I'm know changing that opinion.. while I still don't think the jets on a whole are very good. Smith is awful. Having him playing is a disgrace. He's getting worse each week. Coaching staff Cleary has 0 confidence in him. There not one reason to not bench him at this point. Simms should play the rest of the season. Having smith out there is just demoralizing everyone else in my opinion. Simms can not possibly be any worse.

Not only does he stare them down it was a feature of the replays and post game show. Unless he has a receiver wide open he can't complete a pass because he draws defenders to where he is throwing. Defenders were abandoning their men because geno was stating down someone else.

No I dont think you draft a QB next year. There are far too many needs this year. You evaluate Geno next season and get some talent and go from there. Next year they could easily sign an Decker, take a flier on Maclin, I believe Jacoby Jones is a FA as well. Draft a reciever, and a lineman. This is a Offense draft in the first 2 rounds and this is the year we get it straight.

You do realize he stares down receivers like 90% of the time right?

Why would a team gameplan away from their QB? Its because they know they dont have good skills players outside our RBs. Who are pretty decent.

Lol- there are far too many GREAT QB prospects coming out next year. I get you want to fix everything else but you HAVE to fix the foundation first.

    Geezuz.
