Dan Dierdorf is calling it quits after 40+ years of working in the NFL. I really enjoy listening to these two work games on CBS. I love the way Gumbell articulates his play-by-play and the tone of his voice and I really enjoy when Dierdorf chimes in and says the most ridiculously unexpected shit ever. Its hilarious and entertaining and that's why he's earned the nickname "Dan Dumbeldorf" from me. The dude loves the game of football and loves the job he has had for a long time, and it shows. These two will be broadcasting the Ravens vs. Jets game this Sunday so make sure to enjoy it because it may be the last time these two do a Jets game.
I really hope not. His partner Marv Albert is a legend, but Gannon is awful, so boring to listen to. They should have Marv do games by himself Vin Scully style
Aaaaannnnddddd, he's working the Jets game this week. Get ready for three hours of lisping slobbering praise for Haloti Ngata.
