Hemsky comes at a steep price, unless the Rangers use his a rental player. If thats the case, then they are stupid. So many contracts to address in the off season, including the biggest one. Nash will be on IR right before the Rangers make their movie.
Dreger in NHL tonight last night said "things are getting better for Nash he's skating EVERYDAY on his own and is slowly seeing progress.
In the long run this may not be a bad thing. I felt last season we were too dependent on Nash for offense. The more we have to lean on the young guns like Kreider, Miller, Hags and Brazzers the quicker they'll get comfortable. Still some kinks to work out though for sure...
And just wait until he returns to a functional team with proper offensive coaching. It's going to be night and day. Kreider was basically out of the league under Tortorella and now he's on the Ranger's top producing line and killing it under AV. Everything is starting to click under the new coach and when Nash comes back (hopefully soon) the Rangers are going to the next level
Might have just been because of where I was sitting but I definitely didn't appreciate how great of a pass that was at the time. Hell of a play from Zucc. That's like a soccer style play, chip the ball past the last d-man and let the man chase it down.
Having played both sports for many years, I can tell you hockey and soccer are VERY similar...as is any team sport that involves passing a ball up and down a playing surface towards a net
Nice job by Henrik holding the fort for the first 18 minutes (and that PP) then it seemed Pens took the night off. Malkin was a lazy bum, Kris Letang sucked, Dustin Jeffrey absolutely BLOWED and when Adams went on the PP, I guess that was Bylsma calling for the check. Didn't seem like the Pens were willing to push hard enough to get into Lundqvist's grill. As the season grinds on, anyone see Pitt maybe trying to swing a trade or two to put on some more size?
Couldn't watch the game tonight. It was blacked out on Gamecenter because it was on NHL network which my girlfriend doesn't get. .500!
.500 Win on the road in a B to B game Great stops by Cam .500 Huge after the endless hideous 9 game opening road trip Sent from my BNTV400 using Tapatalk
Cam Talbot, played excellent especially in the 3rd period with 14 saves, he has only given up 8 goals in 4 games...never thought I would be so happy to be at .500, still 11 road games and only 5 home games...
Jonny you been watching the Cosmos replays on sny, good stuff from the mid 70's-early 80's? Chinaglia, Pele, Beckenbauer, Messing, Birkenmier, Romero...
yea great game. Loving the offensive production. Hopefully Nash comes back soon. Also what's this i hear about Yakupov/Hemsky?? from hfboards:
